just so you know

yes, i'm still alive. i've just been EXTREMELY busy. in addition to that, i haven't had anything to really move me to write. so since i'm at the computer, i feel like i should stop neglecting my life as .quetta.so let's start with a few updates:

1. i'm currently employed at walgreens. (ugh...)
i've been working at walgreens for almost two weeks, and i hate it. no seriously, i hate walgreens. it's not so much the work that i have to do, it's the people that come in with a thousand coupons and then start to trip over .20! i'm like, these people can't be serious. i can give them .20 out my POCKET! but alas, i deal with it. i mean a check is better than no check... right? 

2. i'm still single.
can't get much plainer than that. sure there's this guy i'm interested in, yet i'm so busy i can't give him the proper attention he deserves. so, like we've talked on the phone, exchanged a few texts, but nothing serious. at this point, we're just good friends. but since i work from 2pm-10pm (sometimes 5 days straight), a relationship isn't feasible right now. between walgreens and planning for the summer, i'd seriously be a crappy girlfriend. i mean, what guy wants to be ignored all the damn time?


3. i'm spending the summer in nyc.
yep, got the call last week. my boss fom last summer wants me to come back, so naturally i decided that i would go. i mean, who in their right mind passes up a summer living in nyc... rent free? that's insane! so yeah, i'm probably leaving the 2nd week in may. this time, i'm definitely going to bring a camera with me. i actually want to capture the memories that i'm going to have from this summer.

also, since i'm 21 this summer is probably going to top last summer (and that's saying something!)

4. goose definitely gets one loose.
oh yes, yes it does! i went out with my sister and her friend on friday, and i was feeling RIGHT! you know that feeling when you're more than buzzed, but not rockstar wasted? yeah, that's what i was on. i shxt you not, i was in this lil hood club, but i SWEAR FO LAWD i had the time of my life. it might have been the alcohol encouraging the shenanigans, but i'll be DAMNED if i ain't have a good time! granted i had to work the next day, but who cares about that? the way i see it, as long as i enjoyed myself the night before, work is just a necessary evil.

good thing is, i wasn't hungover!

so that's basically what has happened since the last time i blogged. i'm in a better place in my life, and i'm pretty much enjoying myself. i've also given myself a new project. i want to have healthier hair. so i'm going to start transitioning from heavily relaxed hair, to not so relaxed hair. let's see how that goes.
